Life Legacy
Doris F. Dunavant-Eaves (nee Robbs), age 83 of Overland, MO, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. She was born on August 7, 1929 in Roselle, MO.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Myrtle (nee Matthews) Robbs; her first husband, Roy W. Dunavant, Jr.; one sister, Virginia Reed; and two brothers, Thomas and John Robbs.
She is survived by her second husband, Kenneth D. Eaves, Sr.; one son, Wayne Roy Dunavant; four grandchildren, Daniel (Amy) Dunavant, CPL David (Chrissee) Dunavant (serving currently in Afganistan), Christina Dunavant and Dale Dunavant; one great-grandchild, Haley Dunavant; two sisters, Helen and Mary Northcutt; one brother, Ernie Robbs; three step-children, Kenneth (Kathy) Eaves, Sr., Jeffrey (Stacey) Eaves and Michael (Kim) Eaves; dear step-grandmother of Jane, Katie, Calie, Danielle, Cody and Drew; dear step-great-grandmother of Lola. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation at OVERLAND BAPTIST CHURCH, 9303 Midland Boulevard on Friday, December 21 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Burial follows at Oak Grove Cemetery, 7800 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to her church appreciated.
