Elmer O. Miesner, age 91 of St. Charles, MO and formerly of Overland, MO, Asleep in Jesus, Monday, January 7, 2013.

Beloved husband for 60 years of the late Alice Miesner (nee Mueller); dear father of Susan (Russ) Hickam, Betty (Wayne) Holdiness, Pat (Ken) Huels and Ken (Judy) Miesner; dear grandfather of Matt (Jeanine), Jeff (Taedra) and David (Sara) Hickam, Michelle (Bill) Hollman, Jason (Diana) Holdiness, Chris (Amber) and Tim Huels; dear great-grandfather of Ayden, Henry, Bryan and Lucas Hickam, Justin and Kyla Bakalar (Hollman) and Heath Huels; dear brother of Lilly (late Ewald) Ochs, Vera (late Delmar) Ruesler, Rev. Dr. Donald (Willie) Miesner, Dr. Edgar (late Margie) Miesner, Ruth Ann (Deacon Jack) Shannon, Arlene (late Leonard) Lohmann and the late Clinton (late Thelma), Gilbert (Lois) and Rev. Willis Miesner; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Miesner honorably served our country in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a retired Precision Tool & Die Maker from McDonnell-Douglas (Boeing) and a very faithful member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Overland.

Visitation at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, 2504 Woodson Road, Overland, on Friday, January 11 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Visitation also at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9135 Shelley Avenue, Overland on Saturday, January 12 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Burial follows at Valhalla Cemetery, 7600 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis County, MO.
